My Policies
In the spirit of self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and just saying exactly what you want even when it’s uncomfortable, here are my policies for contacting me about:
Sex Advice
My goal is to make sexuality information and opportunities for introspection accessible to you by way of my blog content, coaching sessions, and classes, but I do not answer individual sex questions via email or private messages on social media.
I welcome you to make an appointment with me if you have a specific question or concern you’d like to discuss one-on-one. Also, some of these resources accept sex advice solicitations.
Collaborations
Thanks for thinking of me. I enjoy collaborating on creative projects and helping people out! I might totally love to:
— be in your sex ed video
— review or endorse your new sex toy/lubricant/condom product
— write a guest post for your blog
— give a keynote or sit on a panel discussion at your school or event
— help you locate sexuality resources for your article/book/research project
— provide testimony as an expert witness
— be a part of some other cool start-up you’re working on that could benefit from having a sexologist on board
But, I do not work for free, or in exchange for “exposure”. Please be sure your project or collaboration has an appropriate budget for expert consultation when you email me your proposal.
Career Questions
Do you have questions about how you too can pursue a career in sex? Yay! The country desperately needs more sexually literate and trained professionals in all fields. Many of my sex educator colleagues have written helpful free guides for getting into the field, which you can read here, here, here, here, and here. Also, I have written a book that chronicles my personal education and career journey step by step from high school through opening day. If you're a student interested in a sexology career, have read the above resources, and still have questions, I'd be happy to help you via email.
My inspiration for setting this intention of firm, loving boundaries with you was a similar policy on colleague Kate McCombs' website and Alexandra Franzen's website. Here's a guide if you want to learn to write one for you business and life.
